I’m Gert Visser — Vissie G. I’ve been DJing for two years and played around 20 events, from weddings to reunions and house parties. My goal every night is simple: I just want to make people dance.

What's included in the price?

Every booking includes the full DJ setup, the laser show and haze. For bigger venues that need more volume, additional sound hire is available for R1999.

How long do you play?

There's no hourly limit. If I'm there, we go all night — as late as your venue allows and for as long as the dancefloor keeps going.

Where are you based? Do you travel?

I'm based in Gauteng and happy to travel. Travel fees are quoted separately, depending on where your event is.

Can we request songs?

Yes, please! Send your must-play songs (and anything you don't want to hear) before the event, and requests on the night are welcome too.

What music do you play?

Local house is my specialty, plus 80's hits, pop bangers and sokkie. I read the room and mix it to suit your crowd.

What do you need from the venue?

Space for the DJ setup and access to power close by. I'll arrive early to set up and sound-check, and we'll confirm the details with you or the venue beforehand.

Is the haze OK for every venue?

Some venues have smoke detectors, so it's worth checking with them. The haze can be turned down or switched off if needed.

How do I book?

Send a WhatsApp with your date, venue, type of event and rough guest count. I'll confirm availability and send you a quote.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible — weekends fill up fast, especially for weddings.
